To protect the privacy of the recipient, incoming letters are safely retained for a maximum of 30 days to facilitate continuous conversation tracking, after which they are securely shredded and disposed of.


    Facility and Inmate Information Security: When a family member registers an incarcerated individual or a nursing home resident, we collect necessary identifier details (such as booking numbers, facility codes, or room numbers) strictly to satisfy mail delivery protocols enforced by that institution. We cooperate fully with institutional mail screening regulations. If anyl facility or nursing home requires legal inspection of mail, we adhere strictly to their safety standards to ensure secure delivery.


    Legal Exceptions: In alignment with our safety guidelines, call logs are only accessed if explicitly required to comply with a valid legal subpoena, or in critical emergency situations where an individual requests direct, permitted assistance to be connected to a designated crisis line like the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
